Hello and welcome to my series on urban wedding venues. I love an urban wedding so I thought I would put together a series of blogs showcasing my favourite venues that I have found on my travels in the urban wedding jungle. I haven’t photographed a wedding at all of these venues, but I really want to. For the fourth instalment of this series I have picked out and researched four of my favourite North London wedding venues. Below you will find the essential info for each of my favourite venues. I have also found out as to whether they are dog-friendly!
Islington Pub Wedding Venue – The Canonbury Tavern

Are they dog friendly: Yes, usually our policy is that dogs are permitted to all areas excluding the restaurant. However, for a private function we would be happy to allow dogs.
Capacity: Blue Room- up to 35 for a seated meal / 70 standing reception; Restaurant- up to 110 seated and 200 standing.
Catering / corkage: Menus including 3 course private dining, buffet and canapé options as well as a full wine and drinks list. They do not offer corkage.

Stoke Newington Pub Wedding Venue – The Londesborough
Venue address: The Londesborough, 36 Barbauld Road, Stoke Newington, N16 0SS

Are they dog friendly? Yes.
Capacity: We can seat up to 95 guests for a sit down meal at one time and over a hundred for a Buffet/Barbecue
Catering / corkage: £55 per person for 3 course meal. Buffet and canapé options also offered. No outside drinks allowed.

Capacity: Ground floor standing 110, seated 50, First floor standing 105, seated 80, garden standing 50 or seated 25
Catering / corkage: Can offer canapes / buffet / sit down meal starting from £30-45. £12.50 wine £15 fizz. No outside catering except for cakes.
