The Old Library – Blank space DIY wedding venue in the heart of Birmingham

This is a newly refurbished converted Victorian library. With high ceilings and white walls it’s the perfect space for you to really make it your own. Large windows fills the dynamic space with light – perfect for photos! Two spaces allowing you to move directly from dinner to dancing without having to relocate to transform the layour. Voted as one of Hitched.co.uk’s best city wedding venues this beautifully restored Victorian warehouse is everything you need if industrial chic and quirky are your vibe. Shustoke Farm Barns – Red brick barn bespoke wedding venue set around a private courtyard

This 18th Century red brick barn sits pretty much in the centre of England, just off junction 4 of the M6. It is probably the most central wedding venue in England! Convenient location aside it is a beautiful wedding venue, with rustic barn vibes and a slick team ready to create the perfect wedding for you. Honestly, of all the wedding venues I’ve been to, the team here are absolutely outstanding in their customer service. And if those attributes aren’t enough to whet your appetite then their BBQ based menu definitely will.

A unique Victorian country house which can be hired as an exclusive use wedding venue, located just 30 minutes from Birmingham. The country house has 37 acres of grounds for you to host your wedding as you desire with either a marquee or a tipi wedding. Hosting your wedding at this house will give you full access to the four luxurious bedrooms inside the house, and the option to have yurts and bell tents for glamping guests.

Hello and welcome to my series on urban wedding venues. This week I’m zoning in on my top four West London wedding venues. I love an urban wedding so I thought I would put together a series of blogs showcasing my favourite venues that I have found on my travels in the urban wedding jungle. Islington Pub Wedding Venue – The Canonbury Tavern

Are they dog friendly: Yes, usually our policy is that dogs are permitted to all areas excluding the restaurant. However, for a private function we would be happy to allow dogs.
Capacity: Blue Room- up to 35 for a seated meal / 70 standing reception; Restaurant- up to 110 seated and 200 standing.
Catering / corkage: Menus including 3 course private dining, buffet and canapé options as well as a full wine and drinks list. They do not offer corkage.
